It is everyone's dream to find a soulmate. Right from my teenage to my early 20's, every day every minute every second, I always dreamed how my soulmate would look like and when would I meet him.
It was a humid day, like every other day. Husting with bags and crowd, I got on a mumbai local to reach my office. The sun rays sinking into my pores and the humidity turning my skin like grainy texture with the residue of salt from all the sweat.
Like any other day, it was ordinary. Entering the office, glancing over morning market news on phone, walking straight towards the elevators. The wood finish walls of the elevator with a mirrors on three sides with frosted metallic automatic closing doors, very classic indeed.
After many unscheduled meetings in the half frosted tinted glass like meeting rooms, long conversations with seniors over calls and in cabins, unexpected issues to resolve in the applications. A well organised day turned unorganised with all the out of the blue situations.
It was a tiring and exhaustive day. We all were rushing to cafeteria with a longing for a break. Who knew in the midst of a very unorganised day I would meet him. I have seen quite a few. But he was unique with his golden brown complexion.
As my lips touched the cup, I knew in that moment, I knew, he is The One. My soulmate. My cup of tea! NO! My mug of tea! With tea concoction and milk blended in a perfect proportion with a hint of cardamom. Never disappointed me and was with me all though my day. Never left my hands - in sickness and in health. My perfect soulmate.
My Love for Chai!! Jab tak hai jaan!!
